Humans are so weird. I still don't understand them half the time. I don't get why they say one thing and mean another or why they don't just say what they mean all the time.

Anyway. Paris was awesome. Unfortunately, I wasn't there long enough to find any unbreakable boys.

Still awesome though, Jubilant Entity.

Well, it’s more than just being a leader but it’s kind of hard to explain. My Alpha is a good Alpha. He’s fair and really kind of gentle most of the time and he doesn’t overuse his powers. But if he really wants to? He can command us to do things and we can’t refuse. No matter how much we try.

That sounds It's good to know that not everyone with power abuses it.

That’s why he’s a True Alpha and not a regular Alpha. Regular Alphas get their power by killing the last Alpha. True Alphas get their power by their strength of character.

Can a True Alpha control a Regular Alpha?

No, I don’t think so.

There was a pack of Alphas once though. And they had an Alpha. So I’m not quite sure how that works.

A pack of alphas with an alpha prime. Interesting.

I’m just a beta, so I don’t know all the answers.

I am birthright, though, so that’s something.

You said you like your alpha, but if you did not, would you want to be the alpha, or would you strike out on your own instead?

No, you do not strike me as unintelligent. An admitted lack of social nuisances in humans does not make one unintelligent nor is it an indicator of someone being intelligent overall. Humans are strange and hard to understand in the best of times under the best of circumstances. Additionally, it sounds like you are a survivalist, that you are adaptive, which are two things that can be hard for even an average human to learn.

I’d go out on my own. I lived on my own for eight years and I know a lot more than I did then so I could definitely do it again.

I’m not very book smart. I mean, I barely made it through my math courses but that might be because I skipped directly from long decision to Algebra 2.

Survival is pretty much the only thing I know.

Fingers crossed you won't be in that position again but at least you know how to fend for yourself. That's more than a lot of people.

Jumping from lower mathematics to higher mathematics is never recommended if you've not got the mind for it. Not everyone has the mind for it. While I'm partial to math, I know it isn't the only subject out there one needs to live.

I know a lot of things, but survival is one I, too, know very well. It's a valuable, sometimes unteachable skill.
