I'll admit I've spent most of my time here trying to figure this place out. Why we're here, who or what this supposed Jubilant Entity is. I still have a lot of questions I want answers to, but I have to admit that being in Goodland might not be the worst thing that's ever happened to me, so in keeping with that, I have a question for all of you.

What have you found to be the best part of being here?

Peter, your answer isn't allowed to be related to food or puppies.

But that takes away all my potential answers!

I'm glad there are people here I know and people to meet who seem to like me are nice. I'm glad I don't have to die and come back and lose I like that it's familiar enough that I'm not completely lost walking around, even if it's still different from home. Our apartment is way bigger than mine at home, which is kind of cool. Some things are really weird, like leprechauns, but I think the type of stress here is completely different than back home.

I do like the apartment. It's a lot nicer than I had, too. And Tony actually seems to ca Leprechauns and ostriches are a different kind of weird than alien invasions or whatever.

I don't know if I prefer one over the other, but I will say, as strange as they are to see walking around a city, I currently prefer the ostriches to the invasions and crazy sentient robots trying to destroy countries.

I don't know. I guess meeting more than four people.

You'd only ever met four people before?

Not really. There were a lot of people in the Evolutionaries, probably two dozen, and I went out a few times when I was old enough. And when my sister and I left we had to go through towns too. But we didn't really talk to any of them for very long until I joined the Defenders which is three other people and my sister is four.

You don't think it's the government anymore?

That's a tough question, MJ. I guess realizing there are more worlds than the ones you know and those said worlds don't have Demodogs, Mind Flayers or Russians trying to kill you. That's a pluss.

Maybe it is, but I thought I'd take a minute to look on the good side.

Sounds like you have a pretty crazy life at home.

Food! Puppies!

But also

Television and movies, all the new technology, showers, hot water that comes out of a faucet, girls wearing trousers, meeting new people, meeting Peter, cars and trains and busses, whole stores where you can just buy whatever you need, LIQUID SOAP.

Adopted alien who takes care of earth! What's not to like? He does the right thing.
