So, I need to figure out projects to do. Seems that my bedroom is being turned into a lab, so there is that. Now? I just need to figure out projects and find the right tools. Honestly? A lot of the tools here seem pretty primitive.

I've had to do the whole makeshift lab in my room thing too.

I didn't have to.

One of my roommates is a friend from home and he knows how I am. So, he figured it would be better if I turned my room into my lab.

I just don't like how primitive the tools here are.

Fair enough. In my case I didn't have a choice.

You keep say that. I take it you're from the future?

Actually, I've said it twice. That doesn't constitute a fact that I keep saying it, though, yes.

We're pretty advanced where I'm from.

Hey. I kept that damn collar on till you got here so you'd have something to pick apart.

Oh, is that why you kept it on?

Absolutely. All for you. Definitely not because I couldn't find anyone here who could actually do it.

All for me. How charming, Murphy. No, that wasn't the reason you kept it on, at all.

I actually might tinker with both collars.

What type of tools are you looking for?

The typical tools work, but I like the more advanced tech. Things that would blow someone's mind.

Cool, cool, but what type of work? You a mechanic, metalworker, seamstress, or something else? Different work has a different set of tools.

Some of the more advanced stuff has to be custom crafted.

I don't know what a seamstress is and I don't know if I've ever heard of metalworkers. I'm an engineer and mechanic.

Custom crafted is always better.

Seamstress makes and repairs clothes normally. Metalworker tends to weld things, repair things already made. Got it. There are a few mechanic shops around you could check out to see if there are any tools that interest you.

I feel that.

Where I'm from the engineers and mechanics do all of that. So, maybe they just shoved it all into one thing. Only thing is, will these mechanic shops around have a means to custom make tools?

I haven't been here that long, so I don't know all the places around yet.

I had the same problem with tools, I ended up having to build some of them myself.

Well, as long as I've got the materials, I can build all my own tools.

You could say that.

Nothing here is super advanced in any shape or form.

I guess it depends on your perspective.

I haven't seen anything here to indicate things being super advanced, but I've not been here that long. So, we'll see.
