Me again. Not sleeping and back at it with pies.

I think I'll go for more traditional flavors this week, since not sleeping is now a weekly thing, apparently. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'll put twists on the pies, like caramel apple and Mexican chocolate cream. But I think I'll do the tried and true banana with nilla wafers. It's my favorite.

Idk why I can't sleep. Things feel fine. I just can't get there...

It might be time for me to find a professional stranger to figure out what's happening in my subconscious. Will you help?

You mean electric instead of gas?

Yes. I'm certain I'll learn quickly enough that I shan't have to bother you long. I don't want to make you uncomfortable.

It's fine. I'm not worried. I don't mind helping. At least you know what an oven is, so I don't have to start at the beginning. 😊

Not at all; though, could you possibly go over American measurements while you bake? I'm more acquainted with the metric system, so some of it doesn't make a great deal of sense, I'm afraid.

I don't really measure when I bake, but the beauty of the internet is that you can find recipes in the unit of measurement you're used to! And most measuring cups have metric. So. That's good, right? Or you could special order what you need. Or ask the entity for what you have back home?

I haven't made use of the 'internet' very much thus far, but I'm sure you're right. As for the entity, I'm not certain I'm prepared to ask an invisible force for anything just yet.

Hmm. You're from a different time.

Well. You've figured out this much. You'll get the rest!

Thank you, I appreciate the vote of confidence.

Well, welcome. You'll get used to things, and there are loads of people around to help.
