I am unaware of the details leading up to the incident, but it seems he encountered something holy in nature that caused the ice burns and the fractured skeletal appearance. He is submerged in an ice bath now.

This sudden change of affairs changed him something he's not. I believe his friend tried to help him and unwittingly caused damage. He will be fine if he receives the rest he needs.

Gods no it isn't helping.

The wine that the bard is bringing me will be helping. This? Has given me a splitting headache. But I've had conversations with the boy previous to his misfortune, and he's one of the few that don't wear on my nerves.
