	He had it in this... sort of a time dilation field that kept it slightly out of phase with reality while speeding up the time inside it by about three thousand. ~~That's why you reacted.~~ In my world, the Maker, or the Maker of the World, or Wellspring of All is a deity worshiped by the Chantry. To explain all is to recite the teachings of my childhood, and I'd rather spare you that much.

But The Maker is no Reed Richards, and probably not insane. If anything, The Maker is only a tool to perpetuate a belief system that's impacted all of Thedas.
