Let's play a game. You can get threes items to personalize your bedroom/apartment/personal space. What do you pick and why? Go crazy. Bonus points for anything unusual or out of the box.

And because I started this, my three things:

01. New quilt. Maybe I'll make this.
02. Chalkboard for the wall, or chalkboard paint for part of the wall with a frame around the space.
03. This pillow.

[Josie Saltzman & Hope Mikaelson]

I got thinking about things because of the way things feel here, and I also got curious about me being here before. I didn't want to be curious, but I don't recommend it, Josie. It's a bit of a trip I guess the Before Me asked this entity thing about what Goodland was made of. There was a lot of "No, Lizzie, don't do it, it's risky," which I'm sure Hope knows or remembers or maybe you blocked it out. I don't know. Not the point. The point is, the whole place is magic. I guess like the school but on a much larger scale. And kind of different than ours, I think. I can't describe it. Point is, it's magic, and that's useful information. And I siphoned some of it throughout the week here and there, and nothing bad happened

Also, I don't know if this is the same as New York at home or not, but there are a lot of occult bookstores and new age shops and metaphysical stores. You know, for those people who think they're witches, but they're not really witches? They just chant and think they can feel the energy and pray to some goddess or another but mostly nothing happens. They're good for some resources, but they aren't really actual stores for real magic. Those places. HOWEVER, there are some actual places that are legitimate! (Which, yeah, Hope, you might already know. ) One's actually in one of those stores that seems to cater to tourists and the wannabes, but the others I found were more inconspicuous. Those ones have interesting spells around them.

I also thought maybe there'd be some kind of future knowledge about

Also found a place that makes a pretty good milkshake. I had three.

[/Josie & Hope]

[TVD Universe]

When I was here before, I reached out to everyone from home who's here about Goodland and what it was made of, and there were some concerns. I get it. I do. And I can't tell if I ever updated anyone on what? Long and short (mostly short. That's all I've really got) is Goodland is magic, as in made of, which I'm sure shocks absolutely no one from the sheer madness I've heard about.

And if I did already let you know this, disregard the PSA.

[/TVD Universe]

[Josie Saltzman]

Are we going to pretend I can't sense you don't have magic? Or not sense you and your magic in you, technically?

[/Josie]

1. A stained glass window to remind me of home.
2. A ballet barre on one wall so I can practice in my room
3. This painting. It's from one of my favorite ballets, Giselle.

01. Any particular image?

02. Oh do you take lessons here?

03. Never got into ballet, but that's a nice painting.

1. Not really. There was this abandoned church I lived sometimes hung out in, so I guess something a little religious.

2. Yeah, I do. I do most of my practicing after hours, though.

3. I like it.

01. They seem to have a lot of pretty ones.

02. Isn't that how that works? You do the lesson, then you practice after and before and other times you're not in lessons?

03. And that's what matters, right? Otherwise, why bother with something?

1. They're really pretty when the sun hits them just right.

2. Yeah, but most people probably don't break into the studio late at night.

3. Basically, yep.

1. Also a ballet barre (not copying)
2. This bed
3. A secret reading room accessible by a door in the back of a wardrobe.

01. Wouldn't have thought you were. Would have just thought there might be a ballet trope here.

02. Have you seen the circular ones? They look nice.

03. Guess we all need to Narnia out sometimes.

1. If there is, I haven't heard of it, but that'd be cool. I like dancing with others, and with myself.

2. I haven't, but if they're hung from the ceiling, that's cool.

3. Without the talking animals.

01. Tandy said she takes lessons here. She might know more about all that dancing stuff.

02. They do. They're suspended on all sides so they can rock in all directions.

03. Yeah, I don't really need or want to know what a badger's thinking. I'm sure it's riveting, but pass.

A whole wall for painting
A high enough ceiling for a proper loft bed
A really good sound system

But would you have to repaint it every time you wanted to do a new one, or would you do one painting/fill the wall, and that's that?

Why a loft bed?

Always a necessity.

I'd probably change it sometimes, but like, every few months. Not every weekend or anything.

Loft beds are cool. Especially when you don't need a ladder.

The painting I lost in the fire is the only thing I can think of, guess I lose.

[ Saltzson ]

Oh, I definitely remember.

I haven't really been trying to expand my magical knowledge here, so I didn't go looking.

Milkshakes?

I hear this entity takes requests...

[Saltzson]

It looked like an interesting conversation that I'd understand if you blocked out. Kind of glad

I got anxious when you said K bored curious, and I wanted to know if the magic was just this place or also specific places. I don't know how magic works across universes (I don't know that we could do Harry Potter spells or that they could do ours), but if this place is as crazy as everyone says, it can't hurt to look into it a bit. Besides, there was nothing on tv.

Yes, milkshakes. They even have peanut butter for you.

Yea, yea. Maybe.

[ Saltzson ]

It's one that's hard to forget, actually. I was worried about yo

I talked to one of them about it once. I couldn't really make the wand thing work, which was supremely disappointing. I need a spell that cleans rooms like theirs. I can't say I disagree about it not hurting to look into it. You could have asked me to tag along.

But will they put the whipped cream on the bottom?

Why only maybe? And do you think it'd send my wardrobe from home?

[Saltzson]

I could see why.

Maybe it's because their wands have personalities or something versus being just some kind of extension of the user? But if they don't work for some people, why's that shop here? Ugh, same, Hope. Same. I want to just wave a wand and Cleansio my room. Ha! Now you know what it feels like. Even if Everyone said no last time I asked, so I thought get forgiveness after was the better route. Honestly thought you'd be busy with Landon's birthday weekend. Or day after his birthday to start the weekend right after his birthday weekend. Whatever. But I'll show you where they are.

The girl gave me a funny look when I asked, but she said yes.

You asked.

Definitely some new bedding. Maybe curtains, too.
+1 to the chalkboard. The wall thing could be really cool.
A new guitar because I didn’t have mine with me.

Saltzson
I think it wouldn’t hurt to talk to some of the other magic users anyway. Maybe we wouldn’t be able to do their spells, but a lot of the potions could be doable. I asked Lily Luna Potter to teach me their pepper up potion sometime. Which is a sentence I totally never thought I’d say. We should try it, anyway, becUse when will be ever have another chance like this?

Twinsies
I was kind of hoping you just wouldn’t notice.

Yes to both.
We need to look into the chalkboard paint.
Is this an ask and you shall receive thing or a Aunt Bonnie's Missed Some Birthdays, Let's Go Shopping thing?

[Saltzson]

We will never have another chance like this, I bet. It's one thing to have witches from all over in our world, but this is entirely different. Do we know all the magic users here? Their worlds, I mean. I don't want to ask someone like Voldemort for more info on his brand of magic.

[Twnsies]

I know I get wrapped up in myself, but I do notice things sometimes. And I'm trying to notice more I'm trying to be better We don't have to talk about it if you don't want to, though. I just don't want it to turn into a whole thing like with the dark magic. I don't say it enough, but I love you, Jo.

We definitely need a belated birthday thing. Something fun and preferably with a Bonnie-sponsored shopping spree.

Saltzson
I haven't met all of them, but I know there are a lot of people from Harry Potter here. I'm not sure about other kind of magic, although I've seen at least one person talking about it.

Twinsies
No, it's not that, Lizzie. I know you do and I love you, too. I just kind of don't know how to... What I did to I can't risk her coming back out and having access to that kind of power again.

A few cages, because it doesn’t feel like home with space for Jacen’s critters.
More of my tools and projects, which I was also sadly lacking since they weren’t in my x-wing.
Holos of my parents, brothers and friends. It would be nice to have something since most of them aren’t here.

He likes a variety insects, serpents, other things. It's been a thing since we were kids.

Just tinkering, mostly. I always had a lot of droid and ship parts lying around for whatever I was trying to build or figure out.

My uncle Luke is here, but I haven't really talked to him yet. The rest of my family - they're not and I miss them, so it would be nice to have a little piece of them.
