I've been thinking about this for weeks and I know there are some people around here who might side-eye me when I say this, but I'm going to start SHIELD up here. I feel like this place could use a group of people to keep an eye on things and to keep an eye on everyone who has been dragged here against their will. Why should we? You're a Government organization which means you cannot be trusted to begin with but you allowed yourself unwillingly or not to be infiltrated by HYDRA the people you promised to fight and the only way to defeat it was the one good thing you did (supposedly) is to bring down SHIELD and release all the information to the public. I still don't believe Rogers did what he did with the Hellicarriers for the reasons stated but I won't dispute the rest of it. You're an organization of lies and secrecy and that just hurts people in the long run. Enough people here have been to hell and back, sometimes literally, and you expect them to trust a Government organization that is built upon lies and deceit? They will hear SHIELD and immediately distrust it.

Except I'm not. The government here isn't apart of this. As far as I know, it hadn't been SHIELD's decision to crash and burn. My team had been dealing with a member turning out to be HYDRA and the fall out of everything (I was still new to SHIELD at the time). We suffered in our own way, too. I've been to hell and back, too, throughout the years. All I want to do is keep people safe here. I get the distrust, I do. I didn't trust SHIELD at first either. But I gave them a chance and saw the good that they did. I just want the same for my version of SHIELD.

	People are going to argue. I already saw some that I agreed with in regards of the name thing. You also would need complete and utter transparency and I just don't see any version of SHIELD going for that. It would be the only way for people to trust you. (Reply to this) (Parent)
