Is this going to be like the corn maze? We go in and instead of B-movie monsters and threats, we get little old ladies with gingerbread houses who want to throw us into an oven?

I think it'd be kind of rude to eat someone's house unless it was built by Gene Wilder. But if that changes and I suddenly have some weird magic-caused compulsion to devour condos, I'll let you know.

Yeah. Kind of torn between thinking this is really cool and this is really creepy. I think my compromise is to not eat it. Just in case some Oompa Loompas come sing a song about my untimely sweets related accident. That's not how I want to go out! ;-;

For real, I've never understood that story. And aw, you're a real pal.

It could be the Depp version, which would make it even creepier. But you raise a good point - those kids did all die, right?

In the Willy Wonka movie, yeah, I'm pretty sure. I mean, the one kid got sucked into the chocolate river pipe, that girl fell down a shoot, another literly turned into a giant blueberry and looked like she was going to pop.

Moral of the story is that greed will kill you.

Pretty sure it's a story about not trusting strangers and not disobeying your parents. And I try.

It doesn't explicitly say one way or another in the Wilder version, but I kinda imagine they do. I know in the Depp version they don't. I've never read the book. But I don't see how they survived unless it's like the Depp version, but they never showed it. So it wouldn't surprise me if they did.
