Does anyone have suggestions on things to read?

[TONY STARK]
I was not fully truthful when I first acquired the blood. There is another vampire here and I have been sharing my stock with her. I have procured her permission to share her name since I fear she will need this synthetic blood as well. Anna, if you need to speak with her.

I find I will need a refill soon thanks to my deceit.

What's your usual literary poison?

Anything at this point. I just finished a rather interesting book about the Salem witch hysteria.

I spent years reading rather droll writings.

Heh. I get it.

You read anything modern yet?

A rather amusing novel by Bram Stoker. That is the closest I have gotten to modern.

Get some booze and crack open Twilight then.

I will have to compel myself some booze. I shall do as you suggest. Are they also a comedy?

They're a quartet (and maybe then some) of books about a girl who falls for a vampire in a small town, and the vampires sparkle in the sun. There are also werewolves that are really more like shifters that shift into wolves, and there's some vampire versus werewolf stuff to win the Super Ordinary Basic Girl Who's So Plain But Is The New Girl So She's ~Interesting~ And ~Unique~ And Not Like The Other Girls Here. It's not meant to be a comedy I don't think, but it's kind of hard to take the books seriously. There was a vampire craze like maybe ten years ago or something maybe more and it spawned a lot of random vampire stuff like Twilight. And then that spawned its own fanfiction that got printed as a book and turned into a movie, and you really don't need to go read that or watch that unless you want to know how people perceive certain communities and dive into the hate for that on YouTube.

The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien. Dune by Frank Herbert. Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card. The Chronicles of Naria by C.S. Lewis. Stephen King has a lot of novels, some better than others, especially his early works. Firestarter, Carrie, 'salem's Lot, The Shining -- good places to start with his stuff.
