You know how you get butterflies for ~~mom~~ Natasha? I used to think that I only had them with Francis because he's the only one on the team who was kinda my age and not raised to be a brother and sister to mine. But he and Torunn are kissing in some lookout tower, so that's that.

	Attraction can hit you weird, feelings are fucking awkward. But it's even more awkward if you're raised with foster siblings and there's only one person not included in that. But? I love her. I know I do. I get these moments of almost like overwhelming pride? But I think Laura and I are lonely and damaged and I think no I know that's what attracted me to her because she gets it what it's like being here looking on the outside in but I think she also wants like, the boombox in the middle of the night outside of her window or a kiss in the rain kind of things like in the movies, and I don't think that comes to me naturally because we're not in a movie and real life is like, mostly bad shit with like stolen moments in between that are awesome when you spend them with the right person.

You do know I'm talking about Nate, right?

Nat and I used to be like that. Almost did a few times.

There's a lot of kinds of love. You can love more than one person at any time too. Sometimes you can be in love with someone and not with them, sometimes it's just really fucking complicated. But when it boils down you need to do what's right for you. What you feel. You can't be with someone because you think you're just lonely people being less lonely. That'll blow up real fast.

I figured. And honestly... if that's how you're feeling, you deserve giving happiness amongst all the shit a try.

If you can't be what Laura needs, then it's better to part and let her find someone who can be that. But you're gonna need to talk to her about it.

Not entirely. It's ... well it was complicated. We were together, before I got married and had kids. But we ended up a cross roads and rather than implode from wanting different things we kept our partnership and ended our relationship. Turns out, years later, huge misunderstanding on what we actually thought the other wanted. Nat and I have always loved each other, it's just been different kinds of love through our relationship.

Well they are. They're just Barton's, and us Barton's tend to be a bunch. Get to know him, figure it out. That's what your youth is actually for.
