School is on break for Thanksgiving and... baking is not quite chemistry. Something had a horrible chemical reaction in the oven and I followed the recipe exactly.

Maybe I didn't factor in humidity or something? My cookies...are so flat and all melted together.

I followed the recipe exactly. Even scrapped excess flour off the top of the measuring cup. Was the recipe wrong?

Yeah really! Baking can be a lot of fun. But it can sometimes be temperamental depending on ingredients, oven, room temperature, moisture content, altitude, and just about everything else it seems. I'm more than happy to help. :)
