I have to admit that after all the anti-alien sentiment I've experienced, even the slightest hint of robophobia remains [...] jarring. I've already been made illegal once But I have my human appearance back. Would you like a selfie?

It's come to my attention that one of your wards must ask you when she wishes to leave the house. I wanted to make sure you saw the following conversation that I have linked to here.

It's deeply disheartening. I thought this was a battle we'd won here.

I was under the impression that you had. This is only one man.

Thank you. Hearing that matters right now. Too many of us have lost too much to go back now and here we have real freedom. I don't want to loose it.

The path towards integration, acceptance and an united front is unfortunately never without bloodshed. It's been a long year.

You're not illegal here. Or deviant. You're human.

I'm not often speechless.

It sounds as though you have also been through this struggle in your own world? Perhaps some good will come out of this after all, because we've met. I'm Markus, it's truly good to know you.

I'm sorry, that wasn't my aim. [...] Oh, is this an indication that Is that a welcome [...] experience?

For a time, anti-alien sentiment reigned supreme in National City and beyond, and as you've probably guessed, I'm alien.

My name is Brainy. I'm Coluan. We're a techno-organic race. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance.

It is. Your words hit a place that is raw and helped heal it, if that is any explanation of my sentiments?

Alien only means different and different means something to learn from. Although not everyone sees it that way, as I'm sure you know.

Good to meet you Brainy. It sounds as though we have quite a few similarities. I'm bio-organic, though more android than human.

It does, thank you.

Not everyone. At least not in the 21st century. The 31st, on the other hand, is slightly different.

My ancestors were super-computers, and [...] I've lost my train of thought again. I have seven separate thought processes, which keep faltering, and I used to have more, but then I fell in love and those are now dedicated to her.

Emotions are so [...] difficult. And not inherent to a Coluan's natural state of being. Or my mother would have bothered to teach me manners, instead of leaving me to figure it out by myself.

I suppose some people are just ignorant. My father's son was very much of that ilk.

It's good to know I'm not the only one who has processors dedicated to love. Did you fall for someone here too?

They are. Intriguing and confusing at the same time, but also incredibly titillating when a new one is discovered. Manners aren't nearly as much fun, in my opinion.
