You can take everything out of context and write your own sob story with it all, or god forbid, write another book about it. Both you and Diego had a shot to talk shit out. It's not my fault both of you were too wrapped up in your own shit.

That's bullshit. Sometimes the consequence of a prickly exterior is that people won't like you. Women are already constantly expected to make excuses for men who treat them badly and then blamed when it crosses an arbitrary "too far" line like they're supposed to magically know who's an asshole with a heart of gold and who's just an asshole. Not only does it get people killed, it probably isn't too fun for the people who have to figure out how to convince someone that they actually don't like them and want to be left alone. If (hypothetical-)you're constantly hostile to someone and sad because they don't know you don't mean it, that's your problem to deal with, not theirs. No one's obligated to put up with being treated like shit just because "he doesn't really mean it!"

If you don't want people to misread what you're saying because it requires an incredibly specific background context - or even if you don't care about making anyone else feel like shit, you just don't want them to say so - that's what filters are for.

What I saw is one brother telling his sister that their other brother didnt hate her, but that it might seem like that because of Diego's intense exterior.

We were all manipulated by our father to exclude Vanya. We all coped with the abuse differently. Diego was prickly, but he was working on that. Unfortunately the entity took it upon itself to bring Vanya back and send Diego home so she has not experienced his change.

I'm sorry this has upset you on a very intense level apparently, but you've read too much into the words here.

	Thank you. Genuinely. It's less that I don't like my brother and more that he's taunted and borderline bullied me since we were kids. My other brothers have a different read on the situation, and that's fine, but they weren't the ones on the receiving end, looking at it through the filter of my life.
