Did anyone else's older self took to the time to talk themselves in the mirror? Every day?

Now would be a good time for a drink, but I'm just gonna for a run instead.

He sounded like a normal young - maybe ever so slightly god-fearing - teenager. But I don't have a lot of experience with normal.

Well when I say we had a family church I literally mean that multiple members of my family have been pastors there so it was kind of a big deal.

I bet having memories of your future self doesn't much help with that.

I guess I don't have to reconcile that having two separate lives thing in the same way. I can conceptualise being in two places at once but it's just theoretical to me.

[...] It started to get... hard to reconcile the church's reactions to things. Everything was either "God's plan" or delusions of being a beleagured chosen few scapegoating outsiders whose very existence was some kind of moral degeneracy that was destroying the world.
