The tree is Groot. But a smaller version. After he died and ... came back.

Mortals call it 'nature vs nurture'. I only began to understand it when Morgan was born. There are parts of us that develop through our blood. And parts that are learned purely from those around us. I only knew hatred and destruction and power.

Until my hatred turned from others to my father. I am his daughter. For better or worse. But it is what I will use to protect the Galaxy now.
