I know it's not peak flu season, but school starting means more people having more frequent contact with people outside the building, so it might be worth coming to the clinic to get vaccinations done or updated anyway. An unfamiliar population is always a good way to get exposed to illnesses your immune system doesn't know how to fight. It doesn't seem like it's been a problem so far but it can't hurt to be safe. You know, apart from the needles.

And anyone who's new and has reason to think we might not know something important about your biology feel from to come and tell us about it so we know what to do in case of emergency. 100% voluntary and confidential.

Fair warning, I'm just going to ignore anyone

It's something we use a needle to put into your blood to teach your body what to do if it gets that disease, so it can fight it off. It pricks a bit but then we put a plaster on it and stops hurting pretty quickly.

That might have been anesthetic. Different medicines do different things. This one won't make you feel any different.

That's the one that makes you go to sleep. We use it for when we need to do things that will hurt so you don't have to feel it. If I ever needed to do that I'd explain first so you knew what was happening, and I'd talk to Rogue about it as well.

That's how we do surgery now. If something inside you got broken and we needed to put it back together we'd put you to sleep so we could have time to do it carefully. Or if someone needed an amputation, but that doesn't happen as much anymore because we can treat infections too.
