Just want to let everyone know there's going to be open auditions for Cirque du Nocturne this Saturday and Sunday at the theater. 12PM - 8PM. [ADDRESS]

Please ignore the construction when you get there!

I've also been thinking that I have enough time to do classes here too, so if anyone wants to learn any basic aerial stuff or beginner-level martial arts (I can cover Arnis/Escrima, Bojutsu, Judo, Savate/Boxing, Capoeira, Aikido, Hapkido, Jeet Kune Do, and Taijiquan relatively well, but Aikido is my specialty), I'm available for one-on-one or small group sessions. I'm also down to do a basic self-defense class if anyone is interested in that. Y'know, how to crack a dude's nose if he gets fresh, that sorta thing.

If there are any other teachers who want to go in on a space and know some forms that I don't, that'd be super too! I got my eye on a smallish studio but it'd be a lot easier to swing if there were three or four of us working together.

Oh good. When I was eight, my mom took me to the circus when it passed through a neighboring town and I started a letter writing campaign to try and rescue the animals. It didn't really work, but that kind of stuck with me. Your best friend was an elephant?

The idea that they're like NPCs is kind of creepy. Are they like the Sims? Maybe we're the ones being told to do stuff and they're just those neighbors who wander by and occasionally use your dance floor without asking even though you're in the middle of taking a shower.

....Okay, maybe I shouldn't have even mentioned anything.

Yep! Her name was Zitka. We grew up together. She was just a baby when Mr. Haly bought her from another circus cause they didn't have the space for her. We had some horses too, trick riders, that sort of thing. But the riders all took really good care of them. And we always had plenty of space for them to wander around, especially when we camped for the winter. We had a whole paddock behind the house in Florida. I wonder if it's still there...

Oh man. Yeah. What if, though? Someone should look into that.

Zitka. Does that mean something special? It sounds really nice.

I'm not sure I could handle that part myself, but it looks like Five's been looking into it.

Not that I know, no. Just that it's Croatian. And was a word I could say when I was three.

I'm glad someone is! I've got a brother that might be interested in that sort of thing, but he likes impossible puzzles.

That's so cool. And your life as a kid, growing up in the circus.

My friend Noah does too. I'm kind of tired of impossible puzzles.

Yeah, it was pretty good. I don't have any complaints.

Honestly? Me too. You seem like you just came from a world of impossible puzzles too. It can wear you down.

Yeah, I guess I do. It didn't used to always be that way.
