I'm starting to see the attraction of becoming a beach bum. Last night I slept out on the beach under the stars and it was amazing.

We went on a date and it was good. We had a lot of fun, I thought. Ice skating was a good call, by the way. So I maybe said we were 'dating' and Cora made it clear we'd been on a date and weren't exclusive in any way. So, advice would be awesome, seeing as you seem to have the whole romance thing deeply sorted out.

My mind is wondering just how serious you are? I mean, if you were going to make a grand announcement, you'd ask me to help make it elaborate, right? And I'm not being weird!

I really never did the whole 'dating' thing, you know? With Allison it was so full on from the start and with Kira we just skipped it and moved straight to dinner with the parents. I can't deny you picked the right person for that job! Otherwise the Sheriff would have been getting signals from us forever and not getting it. Now I just have to work out how to work her bluntness into something positive.

I know what you want, buddy. It ain't news! I think, what I'm asking, is if you're actually working up to it and if you are, can I help?

It's kinda what I like about her, truth be told. She's honest in a way I've not seen before. Also means I don't quite know how to deal with it, which is a shocker, I know. For me it's weird we slept together before we were 'dating' or whatever but to her it's just a thing that happened. I turned into the girl in this relationship, didn't I? I got all attached when we hooked up. Crap.

Depends what you're planning, doesn't it (and I noticed you didn't shut down the possibility, oh yes, I noticed!). I could help you set the scene or video it for your future kids or, you know, help. Best friend duties.
