School starts tomorrow. Not freaking out or anything, though. Honest.

However, I was at my usual thrift shop of choice looking for school clothes and maybe a new bag when I saw the best thing ever. I found her, guys. I found Annabelle. She's even wearing the right dress. I did the only thing I could do, I bought her. She needs to be cleaned up and her clothes need some repairs, but that'll give me something to do tonight instead of absolutely not freaking out about school.

Also, buying dolls at thrift stores is how horror movies start.

You'll do great! I know you will.

And it absolutely is. But generally the doll is gifted to someone. That's the loophole to the trope. Never take creepy weird toys from creepy weird people.

Can't help but think about my parents. Which I'm sure just makes my nervousness tenfold.


So, I'll just make sure never to accept a gift from you, just in case case it's the doll.

Me too. And some of my friends from back home who should be here too.

HA! I promise I'd never give her away. We're buying an Andy to keep her company on the sofa. So she's staying right here. All of my gifts come haunt-free unless the haunt is specifically requested. ;)
