right, my fiancé. definitely haven't thought about him at all through all this. not sure that it's magic but it's...something. well, when i showed up the sky was pitch black as night. darker than anything we'd ever seen on the isle. these things were roaming around and if you encountered them, you experienced your worst fear. i was told to get inside and stay inside pretty quick so i never had the pleasure but the people that did...it didn't seem like a hell of a lot of fun.

you know me, a real breaker of hearts. i'm telling you, nighttime on the isle had nothing on this. it was something out of this world. yeah, i guess so. i'm just glad i didn't have to deal with it. really hate to think what it would've shown me, though i have a few guesses.

right. that's the only reason i'd ever assume, anyway. i've been fine. once everything got back to normal things around here...they're not so bad. it's not home, though. finally, we manage to bring the two places together and we end up here. i'm not sure if ironic's the right word for it.

hey, i can still literally break a heart any day of the week. don't let the crown fool you. as much as i hate to say this, you're right. things are different now, we need to focus on the future.

well, when you put it that way it sounds pretty hilarious. i mean, awful. yeah, terribly awful. and it's not like i'm thrilled that out of everyone back home, this...whatever it is, chose you to come here, too. not my best friend, not my fiancé, not even uma.
