Your princess practise during a drinking festival is kind of on point.

I have a small head start, given he likes to hang out at the police station I consult at. He might head in the catch them direction.

Yeah, I can see why Elena likes you. That's a compliment, by the way.

Recent history. For me. Helped an old friend close a bunch of her cases. Spoiler alert, the murderer tended to be me.

Kind of you to say. You're just going to have uplifting women surrounding you now.

Is that really closing cases if you are the murderer? I'm absolutely sure that's 'inserting yourself into the investigation', not 'police consulting'.

That is the beauty of it, you don't get to decide what you deserve.

I'm not a police consultant for my good looks you know. I suppose I can understand that. It's not like 'vampire killer' is really going to come across her theories. Although I'm sure if would've with my partner.

You'd be surprised. She knew what the town was about, just didn't know most of it was me. At least, in the beginning. I got reformed.

A lot of my moral and ethical judgements are largely put aside in this place. But I'm mostly sure you're telling the truth because I don't believe Elena would be with you otherwise.

Wonderful, because suspecting one guardian of murder is enough. Although feel free to regale him with sanitised stories of history. He's not going to get first person accounts anywhere else.
