Is it theoretically possible to punch someone over the internet?

Okay that's the last blind date I'll ever do. He spent half the dinner trying to mansplain computer programming to me.

My life is a confusing mess. On one side, I love my job, and staying up late isn't a problem for me to get my research done. Yet, my staying up late is probably killing me. I keep having HORRIBLE dreams when I DO finally sleep. Just... WEIRD and TERRIBLE dreams.

I need a vacation. One of our major projects here at work just died a spectacular death, thanks to ONE idiot! There's a reason we make back-ups of everything... just because the project is nearing completion does NOT mean you wipe all the old files "to make space for new ones".

We keep them because if something goes wrong and the working files get corrupted, WE HAVE A BACK-UP TO DO A RESTORE!!!

Needless to say, he's done. Fired. Canned. Sacked.

But now, my team is back to starting from scratch. The only good thing is that since it was just a patch for an existing game, it shouldn't take more than a month to redo it all. But it does mean lots of overtime, me having to work at home, AND doubling as a code monkey to get us back on track.

I'm feeling way too much right now.

I love pizza and will occasionally have a pint. But this just sounds disgusting:

Okay guys, look. I'm just gonna come right out and say it, because Bruce got all cold and soapy wet this morning and he's such a sadface puppy when he's cold and wet and doesn't have anyone to share it with.

... No, I'm not advertising for someone to go spend some time with him, come on, minds out of the gutter please. Focus up.

What I'm saying is I still have a completely badass working cold fusion project that Ms. Kitty Pryde would be happy to install into wherever it is keeps draining our power *cough*sanctuary*cough*, so that we can all get back to the days when no one lost their lights, research papers, and... whatever Bruce lost today that he's sad puppy about.

So whoever's in charge of the thing draining all the power (you know who you are), give me a call or post me a private thing or whatever.

So I was out and about in London today, doing the touristy thing where I was taking pictures of everything. I wasn't doing too much of the touristy sights, though I did snap a few shots of Big Ben and the Palace because of course I did. But I did see a guy walking a team of stuffed goats, and holding a real baby goat in his arm. I guess they were walking the stuffing off.

And then saw a man in his underwear, outside in the street, yelling up to his dog in the flat's window, telling him to bring him his keys or to open the door. Not crazy like, I got the distinct impression he was trying to train his dog to do this. I didn't ask though, and that's a failure on my part.

Now I'm hungry, but should probably be getting back home soon too. Not sure I have anything to eat there though.

I have very distinct memories of bald guy in a wheelchair that I've never met.

Because I'm gonna have to scrap it. We've got bigger and better things coming. Like saving the ocean, and even brighter, MORE clean energy. Cleaner energy. Super, duper, shiny energy.

I've been so busy with work that apparently something is being built outside the city?

They're doing something wrong. Don't construction projects usually last six years and create traffic havoc while they drag their feet to inconvenience us?

Because they're adorable, and because everyone can use something cute to bring a little sunshine to their day, have a baby sloth video.

It definitely an interesting idea, teaching the baby sloths to climb trees by starting them on rocking chairs.

Instead of playing my guitar I decided to look around online at custom guitars. And I found this one. I never thought I would want something so flashy, but I do. I wonder how much it would cost...

What the hell is going on outside of London? The construction walls went up overnight, and traffic in the area is horrendous.
