Artist's Notes/Disclaimers/Thank you to In Ireland's Ulster Cycle of myths, you may find the story of Nuada Silver-Arm, High King of the besieged Tuatha DeDanann in their war against Balor of the Evil Eye, and his Formoire army. Just when the black sorcerer's treachery seemed poised to triumph, a fiery young hero, Lugh the Longhanded, appeared on the scene to thoroughly upset everyone's expectations.
Media used: CGI colour treatment of a pencil drawing.

What is there to say?

First of all, I was so excited to be on your team this year, as I think you are a phenomenal artist, and am always blown away by your work.

Second of all, I adore this piece. The colours and the details are brilliant; it really looks like a faded storybook illustration (a sexy, sexy storybook.) And for some reason it makes me inexplicably sad. There's such a palpable sense of longing in it, and I feel like it relates so strongly to Harry and Snape's real relationship and circumstances. I cannot say enough about this. It is so so lovely.

OMG drool. The energy captured in the pose just leaps off the page. And it doesn't hurt that a lot of things about this really evoke Elfquest for me visually... (Elfquest which was my first visual porn ever, really. No really.)

I'm shamefully late in commenting (been slaving away on my own submission) but Holy Sacred Blessed Fuck, Clue. This achieves the near-impossible feat of being even HOTTTer than the draft!

I'm still utterly smitten with the ecstatic arch of Snape's neck, the sensual absorption in both their faces, the way they're gasping into the kiss. Harry's facial tattoos rock so very hard, as does Snape's silver arm. The anatomy and modulation of line is lovely; both are hallmarks of your style.

OMFG WOMAN, YOU ARE SO AMAZING. Love the soft pencils you use (I really have to learn how to ascribe to soft pencils, I love that look so much) and the brushes of muted, realistic colours in your palette which help us to not get distracted and to focus on the subject at hand. LOVE ALL THE COSTUME DETAILS. GOOD GRACIOUS. I want to run my hand along each of their forms, just so I can feel and enjoy them, kjdfhksdjfhakjfhasjkdf.

AND OF COURSE THE HOTNESS THAT ARE SNAPE AND HARRY. Beautiful, beautiful men - hottie pose, sexy anatomy, gorgeous faces...what's not to love?!
