Artist's Notes/Disclaimers/Thank you to In Ireland's Ulster Cycle of myths, you may find the story of Nuada Silver-Arm, High King of the besieged Tuatha DeDanann in their war against Balor of the Evil Eye, and his Formoire army. Just when the black sorcerer's treachery seemed poised to triumph, a fiery young hero, Lugh the Longhanded, appeared on the scene to thoroughly upset everyone's expectations.
Media used: CGI colour treatment of a pencil drawing.

I love the colouring and the positions...a lot. The details of the weaponry and stuff it amazing! You really give this a historical view as if it were in an ancient book, even with the text. And the drapery for the background works so well. Awesome job!

The muted colors and the details of the metalwork are exquisite. The passionate expressions and the body language of the pair is explosive. There is no bashful virgin Harry in sight.

Was impressed when I saw the WIP - the finished version does not disappoint.

Did I not comment on this? How did I not already comment? I LOVE this! Everything about it, from the text to the colors. Snape's hair and his hand in Harry's hair. Snape's expression, his eyebrows, his chin, his neck, his chest, his gauntlet! (I'm always all about the Snape.) But OMG, Harry's ass! And his hair, and his chest and his boot. The way he's still holding his spear (heh.) The lightning bolt face paint is such a lovely touch as are Harry's gold jewelery and Snape's silver, and their crossed swords. And the tent fabric, and Snape's cape and really THERE IS NOTHING I DO NOT LOVE ABOUT THIS PIECE!
