Artist's Notes/Disclaimers/Thank you to In Ireland's Ulster Cycle of myths, you may find the story of Nuada Silver-Arm, High King of the besieged Tuatha DeDanann in their war against Balor of the Evil Eye, and his Formoire army. Just when the black sorcerer's treachery seemed poised to triumph, a fiery young hero, Lugh the Longhanded, appeared on the scene to thoroughly upset everyone's expectations.

Very passionate, dashing heroes in a suitably dramatic pose. And Harry’s still holding the spear - I love the implied eagerness and sense of urgency it brings to the picture, as does Severus’ almost desperate attempt to reach by arching his neck in a most glorious manner and by pulling Harry’s head closer with those possessive, ringed fingers of his.

All the jewellery looks great; heavy but elaborate, valuable and eye-catching. *admires* Same goes for the swords and the shield. Awww, the swords look quite cosy together. Oh, and it’s nice to see that King Severus has fondness for green and silver, while Harry the Hero prefers gold.

Thank you for linking to the story. Your wording about how Lugh arrived and thoroughly upset everyone's expectations feels fitting. *giggles* As for me, I definitely enjoy peeking inside their tent and ogling the upbeat Snarryness.

	ohhhhh this is awesome! I love all the details: Harry's scar becoming a tattoo, the fraying on Harry's deer skin (I think it's deer skin) boot, Severus' braid, Severus' rings. Oh and the feathers (that look like phoenix feathers) on Harry's spear. The anatomy is also wonderful. So passionate. I also like the use of the silver vs gold. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Ohh, that is beautiful. Haunting, stark, epic. I love the weaponry, and the jag on Harry's face as his displaced scar. I love the fall of Severus' hair and his scaly silver arm. 	I keep having to go back and stare. Such passion and tension in those two. The forms and details are wonderful. I love Harry's hair and Severus' hand. Guh!

I'm in awe!

All the things that others have mentioned (particularly the Rawr! Hotness!)

But the level of symbolism - the aptness of the characters' associations, Manannán's triskele on Severus'/Nuada's shield and cloak pin, in addition to the Hp allusions!

I'm in awe!

Might you possibly consider writing the story as well?
And/or, as noted above, doing the whole Mabinogion?

	This is swoon-worthy. The passion is gripping, and it's flawlessly done--just very, very professional and impressive. Oh, I've been waiting for this. How much do I love thee? Let me count the ways.

I love how the extra strips of tanned hide fold over at Harry's waist, the strong curve of his torso pinning Snape to the tent wall, the torque of his body and urgency of his hips, the fact that he hasn't let go of his spear, which pretty much implies he straddled Snape almost without stopping to say "hail to thee, oh king." I love that Harry's on top and Snape is arching upward, head tilted back and throat bared in a way that invites Harry to ravish him. And his mouth, good God. This is a man who's ravenous, starving. It's also the perfect angle to spill his hair down his back, which, um, erotic much? Let's take that as a given. Along with the serpentine texture of that braid, which seems very Slytherin to me. And his face is so Snape, so strongly contoured, so harsh and proud and unashamed of his need, and he's basically sex incarnate.

I also love that Harry's body jewelry is gold, with phoenix feathers fluttering from his spear's haft, while Snape wears silver with green gems and a snake collar at his throat. His silver-mail gauntlet is fantastic. I've expressed my deep appreciation before for the perfect curve of Harry's arse and its enviable position, for the trailing fringe of Snape's shawl that brushes his nipples, for the lightning-bolt facepaint that gives Harry such a wild, powerful presence - but let me say that familiarity has not diminished nor custom staled my ~~tendency to swoon~~ love. I have still more love for the subtle art that makes their age difference apparent, without resorting to clichés. And last but not least, my hand fetish highly approves of the way Snape's spread and be-ringed fingers pillage Harry's hair, steadying him in expectation of devouring his mouth.

So much passion and beauty in a single image. Damn it, I wish I could vote!

I COULD NOT LOVE THIS MORE. Omigod, Severus's ringed hand in Harry's hair! And the torques, about wrist and neck, and HARRY'S LIGHTNING BOLT FACE PAINT, and the unfinished edges of his boottops and leggings, and the folds of the tent, and the way the swords lie entwined, and those gorgeous male chests and nipples, and the collarbones and Severus's silver arm, and then I look at the FACES and everything else seems trappings, just trappings. Oh, those FACES. SO MUCH LOVE.
