Author Notes: I've never written Regulus before, but I've always wondered about what kind of person he was, which helped this fic along greatly. Title is inspired by lyrics from Melissa Etheridge's 'Angels Would Fall' song. It's actually symbolic of what Severus eventually ends up thinking of Regulus (and I highly you hear the song or at least read the lyrics to better understand this symbolism). Other than that, I hope my recipient enjoys this. (:

Author Notes [info]senjy asked for non-magical AU, bottom!Snape, Muggle setting, plot, and darkness with light at the end of the tunnel. When my brain attempted to combine "non-magical/Muggle AU" and "Snape/Fenrir," it tied in a knot and this happened. I'm very sorry this led to as little smut as it did, but efforts to increase the smut quotient felt very wedged-in and weird. There are more notes at the end, should you wish to read them first.
