I apologize if these have already been in the Friday Rec list. I'm currently reading two WIP stories by Lilyevans_snape with the Snape/Lily ship. As a general rule, I don't like what we learn about Lily's personality and actions in canon and therefore usually avoid stories in the Snape/Lily ship. Even if you feel the same, I strongly suggest you give these stories a try. Please forgive my lack of finesse in posting links. They are:

"The Alchemist" stays fairly close to canon and takes place, so far, primarily during HBP. How do you have a Snape/Lily story during HBP, plus stay fairly close to the HBP plot??? Read it. I've really been hooked by this story. Snape is quite IC, as are all the rest of the characters and Lily is very well written.

"Once" takes place in their teens, a year after the Worst Memory scene, when Severus, after a particularly traumatic event, turns up at Lily's house.

Well, I'm still lovin' Snuna.  There's not a lot out there but what I've found is good.  Here are two I read this week...

Implausible, Irrational, Preposterous, Peculiar, and Just Plain Luna by thetreacletartis the lovely and very inventive story of Luna Lovegood creating a healing space for Snape while he awaits trial in Azkaban.  The beauty of tarte's prose really come through in this piece as she describes a fantastical landscape only Luna could conceive, using arcane magic only Luna could wield.  Snape is delightfully snarky but still his humanity is ascendant.  This is a very uplifting and warm little tale.

I also read Pureblood Party Girls by wandmaker.  Luna Lovegood and Millicent Bullstrode have been secret friends all through school and now, with the demise of Lord V, they're ready to stake their claim on the men of their choice.  Hee!  Loads of snarky, quirky fun!  I'm smiling again just thinking about it....

Besides Snuna, I have another fav rarepair in Snape/Bill.  I recently read two great fics--both dub-con--one with Bill on top, and one with Bill on the bottom.  Both of them are yummy!

As the Gentle Rain by joanwilderhas been rec'd a few places recently but I have to say it again.  This is a ruthlessly condensed summary and doesn't do the fic justice but here it is...  Dumbledore takes young professor Snape in hand to broaden his sexual horizons. Snape learns he likes to be dominated. When young Bill Weasley becomes a student at Hogwarts, Snape sees something in him he wants and needs.  Its a longer fic so the build is wonderful.  The larger purpose of the story is even more stealthy.  I likes...

And lastly for this week... I read a brilliant little one-shot Snape/Bill where Bill is on the receiving end.  In His Brother's Keeper by sparrohawke the new Potions Master is terrorizing Charlie.  Prefect Bill braves the dungeons to face down his brother's tormentor.   Gods!  I really love this.  The economy of sparohawkes writing style makes this really potent.  It packs a punch.
