Halloween at Durmstrang means two things: The annual Dark Path party, and the yearly Halloween ball. It's a time-honored tradition that student look forward to yearly, to relieve from the stress of the school year. Everyone needs a little break from time to time, and what better way than by celebrating? This year though, something else is in the mix. The White Hand's making an appearance, and no one knows just what they're up to. Students are getting a bit wary - they've always been safe inside the school walls. Durmstrang's impenetrable to outsiders, isn't it? If there's one thing to learn, it's that things aren't always what they seem. |

Easily one of the most looked forward to celebrations at Salem - besides Homecoming and prom - the revels are always outside, in the commons, and a throw-back to early celebrations of witchcraft and wizardry. Come join the party; just be forewarned. Not all's well in Salem. There are missing students, secrets being revealed, rising suspicion, and a coming threat on the Statute of Secrecy. With all of this going on, how are these kids supposed to just enjoy high school? |

Looking for an older/younger line. I want to play the older man, and I was hoping to find someone that would play Anton Yelchin for the younger role. I don't have any ideas set in stone right now but I love anything supernatural, futuristic, etc.
Also looking for a father/son line located in my journal called Blood Ties. It is a long-term storyline that I would like to play the father in.
The hype has died down but I'd still love a Star Trek line if I can find it, be it the Nu! movie or the TOS! series, I am up for anything. From both I play Kirk, Spock and Bones. Slash only, please!

I’m looking to find a writing buddy for a weird and somewhat dark psls (think ‘Shining’ by King or ‘The sixth sense’; dark because both main characters would be around 15/16 - oh, and one of them would be a ghost).
The line starts with the family of boy A moving into an old house/hotel – maybe they have inherited their new home, or maybe the father is working there as a caretaker for the winter season. For the first couple of days everything seems to be truly amazing: Mommy enjoys the luxurious kitchen and the antique bath, Daddy likes his job/likes taking care of the old building, and the two older kids love that they finally have a room of their own. Only the youngest kid, boy A, doesn’t share the enthusiasm of his siblings and parents: he hears voices whispering outside his room and footsteps on the wooden floor of the hall. For boy A the nights in the new house are nothing but nightmares – no matter if he sleeps or not – until he meets boy B.
It happens in his weird state of half-sleep (too frightened to fall asleep, but too tired to stay fully awake) that boy B shows up and talks to boy A. Although he doesn’t know who the other kid is or how he got into his room (must be a dream, right?), boy A relaxes and the longer the two boys talk the better and more comfortable feels boy A. From then on boy B comes to see boy A almost every night and although boy A knows that he’s too old for ‘imaginary friends’ the two boys start a weird ‘friendship’ .

I doubt anyone but me has read it, but would anyone be interested in a line based on Greg van Eekhout's The Osteomancer's Son? Something set in that world would be amazing!
And for those who haven't read it but still might be interested by the modern-fantasy premise...
The Osteomancer's Son is set in a world where creatures like unicorns and mammoths and krakens exist, but humanity exists alongside them and they are treated much like any other animal by everyone except for osteomancers. Osteomancers practice a sort of deep magic absorbed from bones; bones of magical creatures, bones of people, of other osteomancers. Bones carry the properties that a creature had in life, and by consuming the bones, or by mixing them with other elements, an osteomancer can take on those properties themselves.
In this world, the United States are...not so united. The story reveals that at the very least California has broken up into different factions, with Northern California existing outside the influence of those in power, namely the Hierarch, the most powerful and rich osteomancer in the country. There are references to a 'Night of Long Knives,' during which some sort of revolution was started and then quelled, but now the country exists in a sort of half-hearted black market apathy, where being an osteomancer who is not in the employ of the Hierarch is dangerous and foolhardy.
I've got maybe a few ideas, but if this sounds interesting I'd love it if you'd let me know!
