Hello! Some of you know me, I think. I've seen most of you about Skyhold. If you don't, I'm Merrill. I came from Kirkwall to join the Inquisition, but I spent the first part of my life in Ferelden which is why - one of the reasons why, I'm sure - I've been asked to help with this.

I tend to ramble, sorry. The village of Crestwood seems to have been having some trouble with dead bodies of people and animals, and the important people, you know, up top, think it's worth looking into. Since you were all so much help with the rift and, we hoped you might be willing to help with this, as well. It's a few days traveling, if you're all right with that, so best to pack well, but pack lightly.

And if you carry any healing potions or that sort of thing, it might be a good idea to bring them. Just in case.

I'm going out of Skyhold for a bit. Don't worry about me, I'll have some of the new people with me and a couple few of them seem sensible. And Zevran, of course.

I like to think I can take a joke, but in future, I ask that my arms and armor be off limits for pranking. A warrior needs to be able to trust his weapon and armor.

For those I haven't met. My name is Jospehine Montilyet. I'm the Inquisition's Ambassadotr. Part of my job is to organise our formal engagements, and parties. As such, I have organised a party, to welcome all of our guests from other worlds to Thedas, tomorrow night. I know that being here is no one's choice. But, I hope that this will start to make you feel welcome here, while we work on figuring out a way to get you all home.

I sure hope so, because working on this was absolutely fascinating, and very exciting. And, if it doesn't work it will take far too long to figure out why. And, I rather think we need this sooner rather than later.

I'm getting reports of a strange creature arriving through the Rift. It appears capable of changing shape and attacked the guards on duty before escaping. The affected guards were discovered by their relief patrol, and appear to have lost all reason.

Keep alert for anything and anyone behaving strangely. No one is to patrol alone. I don't care how skilled you think you are.

It took all morning, but I've successfully crafted a sword. Would anyone care to spar before the sun goes down? Peter, I'll even handicap myself since you're recovering.

I hadn't had time for calculations until today, by which time I realized I'd missed my birthday. This is a beautiful setting in which to spend it.

I have to compliment the Skyhold library. It's a broad collection from the informative to the entertaining, and provides some fascinating possibilities for experimentation once I've actually in the future. I'm feeling a bit adventurous today. Would anyone else be interested in a tramp through the mountains?

I've only been back a month, and I do believe I eaten my own weight in cheese at least ten times already. Honestly, the lack of cheese is the worst thing about the fade.

Arl Teagan's healer brought rumours of darkspawn in the Hinterlands. Now that we'reback to normal, we need to investigate. It's a wide area to cover and we're short on Wardens currently in Skyhold. I'd like to borrow a few capable fighters, if the Inquisition can spare them. He might even appreciate the favor.

She also brought a letter from Rica. She's Old Tegrin carried it from Orzammar to Redcliffe. Presumably Bhelen is too busy to write, but she tells me how pleased he was that I didn't die in the Wilds. I can only assume he leaves it to her because she manages to sound sincere. Supposedly, Endrin has practically mastered twin daggers at fourteen, and his aunt is his hero. If I thought her capable of it, I would say she's buttering me up for something. She says he's been begging for a chance to fight in the next Proving, but Bhelen refuses to let him risk it. That I believe.

It's good to feel like me again, but I have to admit, I did get a thrill out of being a - Jedi? Is that the term? - for a short while. It was like having twice as many senses as usual. I'm just a little bit jealous.

I have gathered that we all come from very disparate worlds and are stranded here together for the m. I believe I introduced myself to several people last night, but for those to whom I haven't, my name is Edmund, and I hail from the of the land of Narnia. I imagine most have met my brother and sisters by this time. I look forward to meeting anyone whom they count friends.
