Batman Uses a Gun!

Chris Sims wrote a up True Bromance: Eleven Great Man-Crushes in Comics at ComicsAlliance.com. (It also includes a link to an amusing review of World's Finest #289--Superman and Batman Spend the Night Together) here: http://the-isb.blogspot.com/2005/11/where-they-went-wrong-superman-and.html) Also, the list includes Boostle.

My favorite line: In today's Post-Frank-Miller DC Universe, the World's Finest Superheroes have a pretty adversarial relationship that thrives on the fact that people will never, ever get tired of a guy who can move at the speed of light and shoot death rays from his eyes standing around like an idiot while Batman punches him in the face with Lex Luthor's class ring.

Personally, I prefer this one ( http://asylums.insanejournal.com/scans_daily/126181.html) to WF #289, but here's another possible contender:

(From-The Trust, by Chip Kidd and Alex Ross)

Just wanted to add some Bruce and Hal and Barry and Ollie:

And some Dick and Roy:

Dick runs into some problems in the cafeteria...

Am I wrong in thinking Ollie really isn't that concerned about secret identities and stuff? Especially given Ollie and Bruce have been seen hanging out together and, well, that beard and tiny mask. Which makes it funny, and him even more of a dick, that he was the most self-righteous defender of the mindwipes in IDENTITY CRISIS(despite also having been against the one they did to Light).

I don't see HOW he can be concerned with secret identities with that beard. I just don't!

I think I remember something in the most recent run of Green Arrow (not GA/BC) about Ollie being all "who is that mysterious masked man?!?" and everyone else being "are you kidding Mayor Queen? Who the hell else wears that much green and has that beard?"

See, that's what I think they all think. Yes.

For a LONG time, Ollie's secret identity was a complete joke. Started with Grell, I think, didn't end until Winick.
