So glad you brought this up. Wasn't there a disaster movie they did about a giant bus ??? what was it called ????

At one point two thugs have a fight with one having a broken candle and the other a broken milk carton...

Are you thinking of "The Big Bus"? I don't think it was the Zuckers, though.

could be. At one point the bus is dangling half off a cliff and the driver has to plan the escape of all the passengers. Is that the same film ???

could be - I vaguely remember it splitting in half. Though what you're remembering could be The Italian Job! (Can't imagine that you'd confuse the two...)
