Zircher's Iron Man
The variant cover to Invincible Iron Man #20 under the cut.

I love the art but knowing Fraction this will end with Thor forgiving Tony while completely white-washing Tony's involvement in any wrongdoing like he's did with the Spider-Man guest-appearance and his continued use of Hill.

Frankly I'm getting a "Verily, if thou even TRY to sit up, thou miserable can of wormfood, I shall pound thy head into thy abdomen with this very large hammer."

i like this interpretation the best. for my own sanity. it would be beyond preposterous for Thor to just up and forgive Tony, being who he is. even if for some obscure reason Thor did forgive him or whatever, he would still be bound by his own words when he first met Tony after coming back and finding the mess Tony and the SHRA had made. Thor's honor (and Asgardian pride) would allow nothing less.

then again, when has OOC-ness stopped any of these writers lately from telling whatever story they want to tell with complete disregard to canon or character? that's the beauty of retconning. *shrugs* *is bitter*

Just the way his arms are drawn I can see him wringing his hands in disgust on that handle.
