"A suggestion for Manhunter and Blue Beetle"
I just sent Didio a message asking "Why don't you do something like Countdown to Mystery, which published two normal-length stories together, with Manhunter and Blue Beetle? This would allow the writers to write 22-page stories, as opposed to 8-page ones. While both series struggled with low sales, if the audiences of both books bought the same title the sales would probably be higher."

If such a series were to be published, do you think it would work?

And, for legality...

I thought the point of packing them with more popular books was to expose more people to those characters and get more support for stand-alone books?

Yeah, that's what I understood as well. The writer of Manhunter pointed out that they probably reached far more readers as the backup for STREETS OF GOTHAM than they could have as an individual title. Even though I still don't really care for MANHUNTER and don't look forward having that as a part of the comic, although my love for BLUE BEETLE springs eternal as opposed of not reading the comic it is a part of, I do think it is an exceptionally good way to push these characters.

Then maybe they could do something like what the Amazing Spider-Man Family series does with Spider-Girl?
