looked him up
seems like a rather dangerous fellow
so are you glad that he's returning or irritated?

I'm glad, but of course I'll read the issue before I have a full opinion.

You know, now that I think about it, he might have been the guy Osborn used to threaten the Cabal the first time they were all together. Doom's reaction shows he knew the character and both of them had extensive interactions in Secret Wars. Bendis himself said the shadowy figure will be revealed in December so we'll see.

Oh. My. Yes. If that turns out to be true, I'm going to be squealing with joy. I've always loved the character of Molecule Man, and his interaction with the other villains in Secret Wars--where he was clearly millions of times more powerful than any of them, but still did what they said, because he was just too used to being pushed around--was really cool. Norman using him to push the Cabal around really juices my tomatoes (whatever that means). Please, yes.

My dark horse candidate for this?

Is still Marvelman.

Marvel finally acquired the rights to the character, and he'd be a completely unsatisfying and nonsensical deus ex machina, just like the conclusion to every other story Bendis has ever written for 616 Marvel.

I'm caught between 'woo, what a wild surprise' awesome and 'oh wait, I didn't like Marvelman'.

I doubt it, if only because the issue made it seem like a character the Cabal would actually know. Molecule Man, at full power, could easily take them all out, except maybe Loki. About the only other person it could be is the Beyonder.
