Colour me surprised this wasn't posted already...
Given the fans of these characters here.

From CBR's advanced X-titles solicits:

DEADPOOL TEAM-UP #899
Written by Fred van Lente
Pencils by Dalibor Talajic
Cover by Humberto Ramos
Merc with a MYTH!
Stop rubbing your eyes, fanboy, they don't deceive you! Everyone's favorite Merc with a Mouth stars in a third on-going series, hacking and wisecracking his way across the Marvel Universe with a new guest-star every month! First up: when master assassin ARCADE and NIGHTMARE, Lord of the Dream Dimension, join forces to destroy Wade Wilson and THE INCREDIBLE HERCULES, they get more than they bargain for, taking on two of the MU's most irresponsible heroes! Drunken mayhem, bad jokes, and billions of dollars of property damage ensue!
32 PGS./Parental Advisory …$2.99

Deadpool, Hercules, Nightmare and Arcade? In the same comic? I am so fricking there.

I love the jab at the random numering of comics nowadays :p

It's specificly a jab at DC with Action Comics reaching its 899th issue.

But Action mostly reached it legitimately. Sure, there was the Action Comics Weekly thing, but still. Marvel's 600 this and 600 that is lies.

Was FF ever rebooted? I know Captain America and ASM has been.

It rebooted post-Heroes Reborn, I think. And then the numbering was reset during Mark Waid and Mike Wieringo's run.

Reverting to the v.1 numbering by adding on past issues seems workable enough to me (apart from the weird mixup with that issue of Hulk).

The joke about renumbering is funny, though.

It seems to be counting down: last month Deadpool 900 was solicited.

Heh, wonder what happens after they get down to #1?

Around issue 470, there will be a Deadpool-Deadpool teamup involving the Golden Spike at Promontory Summit, Utah.

Then they'll reboot the series and start again with issue -403.

reading the solicits, I've been wanting to see the original Hellions, or at least some of them back. Just say Catseye had nine lives or something. Maybe Jetstream got more cybernetics. Or Roulette manipulated her luck to survive.

Is that Thor hanging out in the background? He doesn't look very happy. And is that blood splatter on the wall from his head?

Thor *and* Wolverine. They're probably Arcade's robots though.

I didn't even notice Logan. I know nothing of Marvel 'verse, I just thought I recognised Thor.

....Thor? Weird placement of his hand and the blood splat. I like the un-hinged jaw expression with the bit of drool. Niiiice.

That's two-thirds of the way there. Now we just need Spidey in there and it'll be perfect.

Sheesh I want to preorder this, but my online subscription site seems to have all the weirdly numbered ones listed under the regular deadpool series or not at all... All the other online stores seem confused too.

Ack, Deadpool's insanity has bleeded into our dimension!
