So, despite Scott Lang's offer to break him out of prison, Hank decides to wait it out and serve his time. Despite the guards hating him for 'turning traitor', he's actually doing rather well, until a familiar face shows up in the prison mess hall.



This goes about as well as you'd expect.



Meanwhile, Moonstone, who's working with Egghead, is breaking out superpowered criminals in order to form a new Masters of Evil team. Finding out that Cannon's getting out anyway, and knowing he's got a history against the Avengers, she basically decides eh, what the hell, and adds him to the team as well. Only he has other ideas, as there's only one Avenger he's after. Having no concept of romance and a healthy sense of irony, he goes for the classic kidnapping attempt by 'reclaiming' his old job.



Hawkeye intervenes and is blasted by Moonstone, who isn't exactly thrilled about Whirlwind attacking the Avengers before her plan was ready. The Masters convene and knock out Wasp and Hawkeye, but not before the latter sends up a signal flare that gets Thor's attention. She-Hulk also joins the fight, and the four of them flatten the MoE

So, as we see, Cannon's apparently got this thing about not learning from his own mistakes, considering this is kidnapping attempt number two, and he later tries it again.
