Yellow jacket finds something shinny for the Wasp...mayhem ensues.
From Avengers Annual 3

Gotta be the worst George Perez outfit ever.

Hank finds a gem for Jan and wants to give it to her as a present ( maybe he smacked her or something) Anyway turns out it's the Spectrum Gem and it possess her.

The Prius costume would be silver, self-sustaining, and powered by ants, y/n?

I like the open shirt style on heroes who one would reasonably expect to be bullet-proof or at least able to get out of the way quickly. On characters like Steve it just makes me wince and wait for them to get gutted like a fish. I am with you 100% on the shorts though! Marvel should take a page from DC's book on the appropriateness of spankypants to showcase long, muscular manly legs for their readership.
