While Mark and the Viltrumite rip pieces out of each other, Eve is lying in a bloody heap nearby. Mark stops fighting like a superhero and starts fighting like an animal, completely disregarding his own safety in order to injure the Viltrumite.

Eve collapses after injuring the Viltrumite, and Mark finishes him off by literally headbutting him until his skull collapses, because that's the only extremity he has in functioning condition.

In this issue's letter column, Kirkman says the pendulum is about to swing back towards humor, and that the last few issues have been about as gory as he's comfortable with.

	Or that they can't be bought off, argued with or otherwise "lawyered." Hell, Trey Parker and Matt Stone when making the South Park Movie would, upon recieving objections from the MPAA, make the scenes in question twice as bad/offensive. And the enhanced scene would be accepted. (Reply to this) (Parent)
