Batman #641 vs. Battle for the Cowl #2
Upon rereading Under the Hood, I noticed something that I loved from Jason at the time and something that I wish had stayed consistant on, to be honest.

Batman #641

Yes, Jason, I do think it's ridiculous when they do that.

Oh, speaking of...

It was during Countdown.

Sadly, as much as I usually love Gail's writing, I really dislike her writing of Jason.

Basically, when the Universe was in danger and the Challengers absolutely needed to find Ray Palmer, they found the spirit of Ted Kord. Donna and Kyle started chatting merrily with Ted, and after a while Jason got pissed, all "helloooo? We need to find Ray Palmer already, we are running out of time! WTF are you doing wasting time while the Universe is in danger!?"

Everybody then decided that Jason was a jerk for interrupting their char and that they should just ignore him. Nevermind the fact that he was right.

That only makes me like him more. Maybe it was intentional? But I did like Ted being all "I can kick you ass, you know" to Jason.
