Superman vs. Wonder Woman!

This is from Superman vs. Wonder Woman (All-New Collectors' Edition #C-54). It's by Gerry Conway and Garcia Lopez.

This takes place during World War II.

The fight ends on a draw when the two recieve an SOS from America and return to Earth.

Well, for Diana? No, not really. She shouldn't actually need the fishbowl either; she ambled around outer space unprotected all the time in the Golden Age, and I've seen later stuff where she's underwater or in space with no helmet as well. Always bugs me when they give her one post-Crisis too - if they're headed out to Pluto, or something, fair enough, but there's never been a near-Earth combat that's lasted longer than we know she can hold her breath (call it half an hour minimum, based on some of the longer JLA fights).

We're talking about characters who can endure hard vacuum and near light-speed impacts and being in the middle of explosions that crumple mountains, and you're suggesting getting winded by a punch is a concern? I think if you're already positing that a creature can survive multiple hours without replenishing a two-gallon air supply, assuming that it can hold on to that air supply even when it gets punched really hard in the gut is sort of automatic.
