Avatar: the Last Airbender Teaser Trailer

Hm, without getting into the protracted casting arguements, it does actually look pretty well done. :) Wouldn't mind seeing the film out of curiousity, though the "Some believe he is the chosen one" part of the voice-over is kind of cliche... though accurate.

For legality, a strip by Rufftoon, who I believe was actually hired by the guys because of the quality of their drawings,

Weirdly enough, I was just taking a break from watching the DVDs when I logged on to check up on the latest web-news.

Regarding the film, my only real issue with the character casting is having Aasif Mandvi in a serious role. I'm not sure that's gonna work for me.

Now, one suspects the film will suck, but that's because it's a Shyamalan film (though I suppose doing an adaptation instead of building a whole movie around a 'twist' might be good for him). Also, since I'm a big fan of Dev Patel from him previous work, I hope that the film succeeds and augments his star power.

No one took Tom Hanks seriously back in the day after his Bossum Buddies show. I'll give Aasif the benefit of the doubt.
