Remember the old "Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe" ?

Came across a few issues . Some of the Character profile art was excellent ...some was NOT.

I have always loved this outfit for Rogue,she used to be a small petite girl, then at some point in the 90's she was drawn like she was really tall. I need to get a latex version of this to wear at clubs :)

	I remember loving that Rogue image, the costume was fabulous, the assymetric look seemed so right for someone who was so... off kilter because of her powers. The OHOTMU did indeed have some wonderful art, and the pseudoscience fumfurr for the powers was a joy, Mark Gruenwald getting to play with ALL the Marvel toys and having a ball every step of the way. 	The problem with Rogue at that time was that the shortness of her hair plus the white streak led somre artists to depict her as a middle-age woman, which was contradicted by thee writing. Same problem for some artists with a bearded Ollie or a white-haired Pietro. That pic of Wanda is awesome! Always loved it and forgot where it was from. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	The white streak wasn't half the problem as when it was in it's original appearance of a stripes at both her temples sweeping back into her hair, now that really DID make her look middle aged. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	The next issue of "wolverine first class" has Dazzler in it with the original outfit. The book has been retro fitted into the "Marvel time" formate of everything is 10 years old. I wonder how they will fit her look into that music scene ??? (Reply to this) (Parent)
