Madman Atomics Comics 15 cover and more Wednesday Comics
Image Comics has finally updated their online schedule with next week's releases.
There's only one thing I was looking for, and to my great pleasure, I've got something to look forward to this Wednesday.

Is anyone else excited about this? I know I've been squeeing since the first time I saw this cover!

I've always liked Allred's art and have enjoyed the numerous Bowie references in his work, but I still wonder how Allred squares away Bowie's bisexuality and gender-bending with his Mormon faith. (Allred's, not Bowie's.)

I'd imagine the same way he squared away all he stuff in X-Statix: not being uptight. Not everyone who's passionate about their religion has to be a fundamentalist.

You're correct, of course. (I still blame Orson Scott Card, though.)

Having picked up Ultimate Iron Man, I can tell you that Card's beliefs are slightly too visible in his writing. It's like there was a checklist:

Hero = Not homo! Makes sure he is known to not be homo!

Villain = Won't stop making homo references to self! Despite being a child, comes off as a pedophile!
