	So it appears that the Orange Lanterns will be consumed by the fire of their greed, at least as far as their auras are concerned. I'm looking forward to seeing what the Indigos are all about. The pic is now on my desktop. :D (Reply to this) (Thread)

First post, hi everyone!
I don't want to offend anyone, but does anyone else think that there are two many Lantern colours now? I don't know, but to me it just seems to be really unoriginal and overdone at this point, I mean, orange lanterns?
Of course, I can't judge, as I'm still trying to get into the Lantern books, but I can't for the life of me work out why there's a need for so many colours. Can anyone fill me in or give some thoughts?

Basically, Geoff Johns is not as good as Dan DiDio thinks he is. Someone figured out that green is EXACTLY IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SPECTRUM YOU GUYS and decided to run with it. They want to bring back all our favorite dead characters as zombies (or "Black Lanterns") in an event called Blackest Night, which is not to be confused with the Alan Moore comic featuring Katma Tui. Honestly, this is a bad time to get into the GL books. Somebody better versed in what's good or not than I am can give you some trade reccomendations. In the meantime check out the back issues of Tomasi's run on Green Lantern Corps, and try and find DCAU comics with Green Lanterns in them.

	I've read five or six GL comics written before the middle of Kyle's run as GL and I'm seriously enjoying all this without a lot of lookign back. (Reply to this) (Parent)
