The War of Light
I think this just speaks volumes by itself. No words on my part will do it justice.

So the orange lanterns will be always keeping their batteries with them?
Maybe they will even keep all that energy to themselves.

"Shoot him! Shoot him!"
"No! You shoot! I am not giving him anything of mine!"

Maybe they are energy stealers, drainers, like the robot Manhunters. But also steal life energy and will power.

Makes sense, giving their nature as embodiments of Greed. "Don't let anything THAT valuable out of your possession".

Well, if all else fails, they can still use them to bash in the heads of their enemies. Can't do that with cheap jewelry.

I'm more bothered by the fact that their uniforms appear to have shirt sleeves. Now that's just tacky.

I dunno, it worked alright for Tim. There's something off with it there in particular, but I think that's on Benes, not the style in and of itself.

That's just it. What works for a teenage boy doesn't really work for a horrifying outer space monstrosity.
It looks utterly unimpressive, as if he overslept and just hastily scribbled his logo on a t-shirt.
