One page and a massive spoiler from the issue.

He saves Oa and some Lanterns when an Alpha Lantern's power battery goes critical. Now we know why Guy is given a new red ring next issue. Honestly, I was on the fence of posting this. I just found out this myself so scan isn't mine. I just found it from another site (4 Chan's /co/).

The rage of this issue hasn't hit me yet. Part of me doesn't want to go to the comic shop now for fear of the rage that'll take hold of me after reading this issue.

	I don't think so. I think Geoff (and DC) don't really want a replay of all the Hal vs Kyle wars of the 1990s, not just when all 4 Earth GL Lanterns have found their own footing/place in the DCU and can co-exist. What I'm really wondering though is if Red Lantern Guy will be permanent or not following Blackest Night? (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	No offense, but I think Rayner's fan base has dwindled enough that after this there probably won't be much uproar at all. I hope he stays dead until someone finds something interesting to do with him. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

All due respect to the very young people here, for whom Kyle IS the GL, but: frankly I always found Kyle about as interesting as watching paint flake. But then, my introduction to him--and most of what I knew of him till, really, the last two years--was via Morrison's JLA, in which he was always talking like what Morrison thought American young people spoke. And I found it irritating.

Also? Always hated that stupid overdone mask.

That said, once he was confined to GLC and was part of an ensemble? I could deal with him just fine.

Not that I'm so much a Hal partisan--in the sense of "liking" him. But while I don't "like" Hal, I do find him--and Guy--more interesting than Kyle.
