This is Kamikaze 1946. It is the last book in the "Families of altered wars" series and deals with the American invasion of Japan "Operation Olympic". For understanding I have included the creators editorial (which were on the inside cover of each issue through out the series) so people can get a feeling for his intentions for the book and his alternate WW2 views :)

Er. It's a hard copy, and I don't have a scanner, so I can't post the page itself. But I'll go find the relevant passages and either transcribe them or say something like, "oh, gee, my bad".

:p

Uh, by hardcopy I meant a physical copy (Luftwaffe 1946 v3). Anyway, yeah, so I was wrong about the Holocaust denial stuff, and Hitler wasn't as pleasant as I remembered him being. I guess what had put me off, and which my memory altered, was the batshit insane conspiracy stuff in the editorial (which was at the beginning, not the end):

After mentioning the ridicule Galileo, Darwin, and Goddard received, we get "When Erich von Daniken suggested that the Earth was visited by higher being in the past during the late 1960s, he too was ridiculed and made many attempts to debunk his book by 'experts' yet his theory is more popular than ever now" [errors are his, not my own :p]

Crazier:

"Did the United Statess and England really planned to set up Germany and Japan for war so they can destroy the threat? Did the US Navy accidentally punched the whole in time nad space during their "philadelphia experiment'? Did the Emperor of Japan allow the atomic bombs to be dropped to make an honorable and secretly negotiated end of war possible? Was Martin Bormann really a Soviet mold to help destroy Nazi Germany? And why didn't Hitler used their own large stock of chemical weapons against his hated Soviets and Jews even during the 'scorched earth' retreat?" Errors still not my own :p

It's not like you got the issue number wrong that something happened in you claimed the author was a holocaust denier and out to show people Hitler wasn;t bad. That's untrue and awful. "my bad doesn't even begin to cover it ...
