Waking up in Magnus' bed was always interesting, though this was really only the second time it had happened. The room was decorated far more then Alec would have liked. He was more function then fashion and that always seemed to annoy the people around him. What did it matter if he wore black? He didn't get why both the warlock and his sister kept trying to get him to wear colors. Black was a useful color for clothes and that was that! As he thought about clothes for some unknown reason he finally cracked his eyes open.
"Too early," he groaned out before pulling the sheets over his face. This day could go screw itself! Yesterday had been both a success and a huge disaster. He had a very honest conversation with Magnus about feelings, even if he hadn't really wanted to do that, and felt more secure about where he stood with the warlock. On the flip side he had pretty much tormented Clary left and right. Was that stupid need to tell the truth still in effect?
"You hog the sheets," he blurted out. Well, that answered that question. Today was probably going to go as great as yesterday. If he was unlucky then he would actually make Clary cry and get yelled at by Jace. "I don't feel like working today," he rolled over on his side as he pulled the sheet away from his face. He barely looked awake, but that was honestly because he needed coffee. The only problem was he really didn't feel like moving much. "I might tell a mundie to go fuck themselves and you'd get mad at me."
He honestly was trying to hold his tongue about downworlders and all of that, but it was going to take awhile for him to stop being such a jerk. The last thing he wanted was for Magnus to get angry with him. The thought of the warlock being angry with him actually made him uncomfortable. He normally didn't let such things get to him, but that thought was like a knife to the heart. "Don't ever be mad at me," he mumble before pulling his pillow over his head to block out the light. "I'm not getting up today. Today is cancelled."
