There was a moment where Magnus strongly believed the cafe might not be opening up on time while the two were tangled up like this. Then he remembered that he did have Izzy as the manager, and really it was her job to make sure that happened. As well as the other employees..would they really miss Alec?
His nails had dug into his back and Magnus was about to pounce on the man and have him in bed the rest of the day, then their kiss had ended abruptly but that was all forgotten when he heard the words fall from Alec's lips. Magnus knew that it was true, but that was because of the truth spell. Something he could came come up with on his own and put on the town, or at least those he wanted to. That's why he'd been hesitant during this time, with what he'd say.
There was a softness in his smile, his hands moving from Alec's hair down along the side of his jawbone until it rested on the man's shoulder finally. "I love you too..." He said softly, tipping his head to the side slightly. "I want you to do something for me though..." Looking down for a moment, it was as though he was slightly nervous for moment...it would be fleeting.
"When this spell is lifted. The truth spell, I mean. Tell me again. I want it to be something you want to say not just because it's how you feel, but because it's something you are comfortable saying, and want to say."
He didn't allow the other man to reply much as he leaned in and kissed him softly. "I'm going to get ready for work....you have clothes and everything else you need in the bathroom if you want to get ready here." Grinning, yep he'd thought about the whole summoning thing already. He wasn't letting this man out of reach if he could help it.
